Thats right 2 weeks down!

It has been two weeks, from today, that I landed in this "Harry Potter" like place. When I sit at my computer trying to think how to describe these past two weeks I can't help, but think...it has only been two weeks...really?! However, at the same time its only been two weeks, two weeks out of the 20 or so that I am going to be here. That means I have 18 weeks to go and visit as many places as I can, 12 weeks until the Marsh's tare up Scotland, less than 10 weeks of classes left (woohoo!) and only so many nights to drink with my friends and not have to carry a bag or backpack around (hopefully college students know what I am talking about!). How is this possible? Last week seemed like forever, but since we have started talking about our spring break trip and when to plan Ireland there seems not to be enough time all of a sudden!

Ok, so time does fly by when you really think about it; the day might drag on or the week, but before I know it I will be seating on my couch, with the clicker in my hand, O sitting next to me, and mom or dad making me something to eat.

Alexa and her Disney Cars swim shorts
Even though time moves quickly, I am still a kid at heart. Last weekend Alexa and I decided to do a few "errands", but really exploring, around Edinburgh. And while we were out we went into the Disney Store...that is correct (Billy Madison voice) the Disney Store and spent some quality time satisfying our kid hearts.

Whinnie-the-Pooh!

Is tiggers are wonderful things!"
Some monument saying where BK is...
So after we walked around the store and touched/ hugged practically every stuffed animal (yea we did) we decided we were hungry! And where do two, poor, American college students decide to go...you guessed it the BK lounge (Burger King for those that don't listen to Dane Cook)! What we have noticed since being here is that fast food restaurants are a whole lot nicer than they are in the states. This Burger King had two floors and the second floor can hold up to 200 people. 200 PEOPLE are you joking?! That is about the same size as one of my lectures. Anyways, after we eat our meals, yes I got a kids size, we took in the scenery.

Then we packed up and went on our merely way. It was a bit over cast so we didn't take a lot of pictures. But once we left we went to the train station to buy tickets too....

LONDON! Only 9 days until I get to see Lo, Tash and Erin...yippee!!
