Its only been a week...Wabbit!

I have only been here 1 week! It feels like I have been here for a month. What is the rest of the time going to feel like?

In my very first week being in Edinburgh I have learned a few things...
1. Learned how to get a cab
2. Beds and pillows are not all that comfortable...I think the floor might have a little more padding than my bed
3. Seats in the lecture halls are not made for the Marsh's
4. Boots are essential
5. They don't know what to do with snow
6. There are a ton of students from the States
7. Craic 90 means having a good time
8. Cheers means thank you/it is all good
9. Scots love to go out every night
10. Locks are opposite than in the states...I mess it up everytime
11. J-Walking is perfectly acceptable and if you don't do it you are wasting precious time

I would say this first week has been quite a learning experiencing. I would say I can find my way around the city pretty well, but I am still looking for the quickest way to get from my building to my classes.

I took this quiz mom sent me and it asked you several different questions and you had to pick an answer from the choices they have given you and at the end of the quiz they told you the answers. Well, one of the questions asked "when your birthday is" and for September the answer stated "You will have a great year and will experience a major a life-changing experience for the good", that seems pretty accurate. This experience is one big adventure and will change the way I think of myself and the world. You never know what life is going to throw at you next or what twits and turns you may encounter, but this is the coolest twist in my life so far! I may be homesick at times, but that is just because I miss the things that have become so comforting and normal in my life.

Only 91 days until the Marsh's are reunited again and 19 days until January is over!!

The only way I can think of to say is...

CHEERS!!
